Q: When is the best time to schedule an appointment?
A: This depends on whether or not you want studio or an on-location session. The studio, and indoor on-location sessions tend to be scheduled during the day. Outdoor locations are best the early evenings. If you have very young children that still nap, please consider scheduling our session during the time of day when they are rested, fed, and are generally in a good mood. For more information and advice please consult with Anna-Karin.
Q: Is there a limit to the number of people we can include in a session?
A: The sitting fee listed include up to four people. Additional subjects, please add $10.00 per person.
Q: When is the sitting fee due?
A: Your appointment will be booked and confirmed when Anna-Karin receives the full payment of your sitting fee. This can be done with a credit card, check, or cash.
Q: How will I be able to view my proofs?
A: Within 7 days of your session I will provide you with a link and password to your private online gallery within my website where you can view and order your prints.
Q: How many pictures will be shown in my online gallery?
A: Around 30-40 images. There will sometimes be more, sometimes less. I do take a lot of photographs during our session, but I will post the ones that are the best and delete the others that don’t make the cut, such as images of clients with closed eyes, etc.
Q: How long will my pictures be available in your online gallery?
A: The photos from our session will be available to view in my online gallery for two weeks. Make sure to place your order before that gallery expires. If the gallery expires, it can be can be reposted again, for a re-uploading fee of $25.00.
Q: Where will the actual shoot take place?
A: Either in my studio, in your home, or outdoors. I also have a couple of locations in the greater Baton Rouge area I prefer to use on a regular basis. When you book your appointment we can discuss the various location options.
Q: What should I wear?
A: My goal is to make your photos the perfect individual or family portraits that will last for a long time. Your face should be the focus point of the portraits. Since photos last longer then popular fashion trends, keep it simple when you make your choice of clothing. Try to wear something that you are comfortable in and that does not have to distracting colors or patterns.

If there will be more then one person in the picture, try to keep a simple color scheme as to not take away the focus from the faces. Feel free to contact me for more info and recommendations on what to wear for your photo session.
Q: What is your rescheduling/cancellation policy?
A: If you must cancel your appt, please do that as soon as you know you will not be able to keep your appt time. Please cancel at least 24 hrs prior to your scheduled appointment time so I can rearrange my schedule for other clients.

** If you fail to cancel your appt, you will be charged the sitting fee.**
Q: What if I would like some photos retouched?
A: Basic retouching is included in the fee. Extensive retouching will be available for an extra fee.
Q: Do you offer a plan for babies being photographed during the first year?
A: Yes I do and I call this the Pitter-Patter Baby Steps Plan. This is a plan that allows you to follow the many new milestones in your child’s first year.
It starts with a session for newborn, 3 months, 6 months, 9 months and 1 year.
The plan is available for $295.00 and includes a complimentary 5x7 from each of our sessions. Additionally, those enrolled in the plan will receive 25 custom-made birth announcements plus 25 custom-made invitations to the first year birthday party.
I will also include a custom-made 12x12 collage with images from our first year together.
To receive all the benefits of the Pitter-Patter Baby Steps Plan, I must receive full payment at the time of your first session. These also make great baby shower gifts! If you sign up on this plan before baby is born, then a complimentary maternity session will be included.
Q: Do you offer incentives for existing clients referring new customers?
A: Yes I do. I will reward both the existing client and the new client with a gift. Please ask me for more details.
Q: Do you keep images from our sessions on file?
A: My archival policy is that any images not ordered after 30 days are automatically purged from my system. I will archive for two years any images that have been purchased.
